Fireguard Prep F-01/F-02 Course

In any occupancy where a required fire protection system is out of service, a firewatch shall be maintained by one or more persons holding a Certificate of Fitness as an F-01 Citywide Fireguard for Impairment.

A Certificate of Fitness is required by all Fire Guards in shelters where a sprinkler

system is not installed or when a fire protection system is temporarily out of

service as an F-02 Fireguard for Shelters (Citywide)

This training course will prepare all applicants to successfully complete the FDNY Computer-based exam at FDNY headquarters (9 MetroTech Center, Brooklyn, NY). The FDNY certification exams generally consist of 20 multiple-choice questions, 30 minutes to complete, and a minimum passing score of 70%.

hours.
